With Mother’s Day fast approaching, businesses everywhere are looking for creative ways to draw customers into their stores to buy gifts for mum. And what better way than to give customers a little something extra with each purchase they make?

Mimco commissioned fashion illustrator Mekel to create four women who characterised ‘Fembot,’ ‘Warrior,’ ‘Princess’ and ‘Rock Grrl’ respectively. She appeared at Mimco’s Karrinyup Shopping Centre store in Perth for a VIP event, where she signed her limited edition prints as a Gift With Purchase. Mekel was one of six artists across Australia to illustrate these #mimcomuses and sign their prints in-store. – JW
